Miami, FL – One Killed, Several Hurt in I-95 Crash at Oakland Park

Miami, FL - One Killed, Several Hurt in I-95 Crash at Oakland Park

Miami, FL (October 5, 2023) – One person was killed, and several vehicles were involved in a crash on southbound I-95, prompting an investigation by officials.

It took hours for investigators and cleaning personnel to leave the collision site that happened on Thursday night at around 10:20 p.m. after the Oakland Park Boulevard.

The Florida Highway Patrol claims that the accident occurred as a black 2007 Toyota Corolla was traveling south on I-95. After a collision, three cars were blocking the middle of the roadway. Shortly thereafter, several rear-end crashes occurred because the driver of the black sedan could not see the stopped vehicles in time.

Due to the accident, the ramp from Oakland Park Boulevard to northbound I-95 was closed for several hours, though no additional details about the fatalities or injured victims were provided publicly.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families.
