Miami, FL – One Killed, Others Hurt in Semi-Truck Wreck on I-75

Miami, FL (September 20, 2023) – A fatal accident involving a semi-truck occurred early on Wednesday morning on northbound Interstate 75 at the county border between Miami-Dade and Montgomery.

Florida State Highway Patrol dispatchers reported a crash involving two cars and a semi occurred shortly after 6:10 a.m. and that the semi had gone off the west side of the road and crashed into a concrete barrier.

According to officers, one of the drivers was ejected from their car and was declared dead at the scene. Another driver was injured and sent to the hospital.

The current conditions and total number of injured victims remain unknown, but officers continue investigating.
