Miami, FL – Four Hospitalized After Collision at 16th Ave & Dixie Hwy

Miami, FL - Four Hospitalized After Collision at 16th Ave & Dixie Hwy

Miami, FL (January 31, 2024) – A serious crash in Miami on Monday evening resulted in four people being hospitalized, as reported by local authorities.

The incident, which occurred around 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of 16th Avenue and South Dixie Highway, necessitated the closure of southbound traffic from Interstate 95 by the Rickenbacker Causeway to Southwest 17th Avenue, significantly disrupting the evening commute. Miami Police detectives are currently investigating the cause of the crash. The condition and the extent of injuries of the four individuals rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center remain unclear.

Our thoughts are extended to the injured victims and their loved ones in hopes of their full recovery.
