Miami, FL – Accident Causes Injuries, Shuts Down 57th Ave at 8th St

Miami, FL (September 19, 2023) – Early on Tuesday, September 19th, an accident involving at least two vehicles forced the closure of a nearby roadway and left an unknown number of people wounded.

Officials from Miami-Dade County said the crash happened at 8:00 a.m. near the intersection of SW 57th Avenue and 8th Street.

Police, EMTs, and firefighters from the area responded to the accident site quickly after the incident occurred to assess the surrounding circumstances and transport any injured people to a nearby medical facility.

The accident is still being investigated by deputies from the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office, but no more details have been released to the public.
