Miami-Dade, FL (January 12, 2021) – A car accident that occurred in southwest Miami-Dade this past Sunday, January 10, at around 5 p.m. took the life of one person and injured three others. Among the injured was a 3-year-old.
The accident occurred when a van drove over a canal near the intersection of Southwest 110th Avenue and 248th Street and flipped over, ejecting an unknown number of people from the vehicle.
One person was pronounced deceased at the crash scene by medical professionals. Two other women were transported via ambulance to a nearby hospital. A toddler was airlifted to Kendall Regional Trauma Center with severe injuries.
