Lantana, FL – Female Killed in Pedestrian Crash on I-95 near Lantana Rd
Lantana, FL (August 11, 2021) – A woman identified as 21-year-old Isabel Matias of Lantana, lost her life in a fatal pedestrian crash on a roadway in Lantana. Reports state that the wreck happened when, for unknown reasons, Matias got out of her vehicle on a busy interstate.
The crash was reported to have occurred on Interstate 95 near Lantana Road on the evening of August 11. Matias was killed after she was hit by two vehicles on a roadway in Lantana on the night of Tuesday, August 10.
The cause of the wreck has not been reported to police at this time. Delays in traffic were put in place for several hours while crews remained at the scene.
No other information is available at this time. Authorities in Lantana continue to investigate.
