Hillsborough County, FL - Multi-Car Accident Causes Injuries on I-4 E near 50th St

Hillsborough County, FL (July 21, 2021) – A multi-vehicle accident happened in Hillsborough County on the morning of July 21, according to information from reports. The incident occurred just before 11:00 a.m. and required an emergency response. 

Police, paramedics, and fire crews were sent to the scene in order to assist those involved. Three right lanes of the roadway were blocked while crews worked to secure the area. 

According to information from officials, the wreck happened on Interstate 4 near 50th Street. Two or more vehicles were involved in the wreck and sustained serious damages. 

Emergency crews treated injured parties at the scene. Those with extensive injuries were transported from the collision site by ambulance to local hospitals for treatment. 

Those involved have not been identified to the public at this time. Police in Hillsborough continue to investigate.
