Ft Lauderdale, FL – Man Struck By Train, Hospitalized on 6th St

Fort Lauderdale, FL (October 22, 2023) – On Sunday afternoon in Fort Lauderdale, a man was taken to the hospital after being hit by a Brightline train.

Reports of a person being hit by a train sent officers and firefighters from Fort Lauderdale to the 200 block of SW 6th Street around 12:50 p.m.

Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue sent the man to Broward Health Medical Center, though his current condition is unknown. Witnesses were asked to contact the Fort Lauderdale Police Department with additional information.
