Ft Lauderdale, FL – House Fire Injures Victims on NW 10th Ave

Ft Lauderdale, FL - House Fire Injures Victims on NW 10th Ave

Fort Lauderdale, FL (November 4, 2023) –  Around 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening, firefighters from Fort Lauderdale’s Fire Rescue Department arrived at the scene of a fire in the 1700 block of Northwest 10th Avenue.

FLFR Assistant Chief Timothy Heiser stated that the first crew made entry and immediately were met with heavy fire and smoke.

Before the fire could spread any further in the home, it was put out, although it took almost three hours.

The FLFR has reached out to the American Red Cross for assistance for the three adults and seven kids who have been affected by the fire. No one was seriously hurt, though EMTs were spotted evaluating several of the victims.

The origin of the blaze has yet to be determined.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families.
