Flagler Co, FL – Bicyclist Hit & Killed By Two Vehicles on CR 302

Flagler Co, FL - Bicyclist Hit & Killed By Two Vehicles on CR 302

Flagler County, FL (September 15, 2023) – A 51-year-old Palm Coast man was killed in a collision with two vehicles on County Road 302 on Friday morning.

The unnamed cyclist, who was hit by a car a few minutes before 7:00 a.m. just east of County Road 15, was riding west on County Road 302.

Shortly thereafter, a woman from Bunnell, aged 62, was driving an SUV in the same direction as the bicycle, followed by another woman from Palm Coast, aged 34. The Florida Highway Patrol claims that the cyclist was thrown to the ground after being hit by the passenger-side mirror of the first SUV. The second SUV also hit the cyclist.

A Flagler County Fire Rescue paramedic pronounced the man dead after their arrival at the scene. Neither of the drivers was injured.

An investigation is still ongoing at this time, and no further details were released.

Our deepest condolences go out to the deceased man’s family.
