Florida Car Accidents

Driving in Florida can certainly be a hazardous activity. According to some recent statistics, there were approximately 400,000 car accidents in Florida in 2019. A crash takes place about once every 90 seconds on our state’s roadways. Drivers should fully understand and appreciate the risks that they take each time they get into a vehicle as negligent drivers are prevalent on our roads at all times. These drivers are responsible for a majority of the crashes that take place although each accident must be carefully investigated to determine the cause of the crash and who should be held responsible for the outcome.

Under Florida law, it is important to fully understand what you should do after an accident. In many instances, you will receive a call from an insurance adjuster asking you to make a statement regarding the crash and your injuries. Before talking to anyone, you should speak with a skilled and experienced attorney who understands the law and how you should proceed. Your Florida car accident injury claim can be severely impacted if you make a wrong move at this step in the process.
