Boynton Beach, FL – Pedestrian Critically Hurt in Congress Ave. Crash
Boynton Beach, FL (March 14, 2021) – Police in Boynton Beach are investigating after a pedestrian was hurt in a crash on Friday evening. The incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. on Congress Avenue at Boynton Beach Boulevard.
According to officials, a man was walking on Congress Avenue when he was hit by a brown Ford Edge. The pedestrian, who has not been identified, was taken to Delray Beach Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition. The driver of the Ford Edge, who has also not been identified, was not injured in the accident. Police have not released any details on the events leading up to the accident.
The crash is still under investigation by the Boynton Beach Police Department. Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to call Traffic Homicide Investigator Vincent Mastro at 561-742-6165.
