Miami, FL – Deputy Hospitalized in Crash at Jog & Pioneer Rds

Miami, FL - Deputy Hospitalized in Crash at Jog & Pioneer Rds

Miami, FL (November 30, 2023) – A motorcycle crash left a local deputy injured on Tuesday, according to officials. Around 6:52 a.m. in the morning, three drivers were involved in a collision near the junction of Jog Road and Pioneer Road, as reported by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO).

According to the collision report, the 52-year-old male driver of a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado was trying to make a left turn onto Jog Road while heading eastward on Pioneer Road. An officer was riding a motorcycle in the middle lane as he approached the Pioneer Road crossroads, and the collision took place shortly thereafter. The deputy was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center, according to PBSO. No serious injuries were reported to the drivers of the Silverado and the Mazda, though both were evaluated at the scene.

Our thoughts go out to the injured victims and their loved ones. We hope for their complete recovery.
