Weston, FL – EMTs Respond to Multi-Car Crash on I-75

NW Miami-Dade, FL - Injury Crash Reported on NW 17th Avenue

Weston, FL (October 1, 2020) – Police and other first responders were dispatched to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash that took place on an interstate in Weston this morning. 

The crash was reported at approximately 11:40 a.m. on the morning of October 1, Thursday. It occurred in the southbound lanes of I-75 just south of Royal Palm Boulevard. The contributing factors of the incident are currently under police investigation at this time. 

Few details have been released regarding the incident and its surrounding circumstances. It is known that multiple vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of the interstate, however, information pertaining to why the crash occurred has not been made public. 

Emergency medical personnel responded to the call concerning the wreck, though how many people were in need of medical assistance at the accident site has yet to be determined by local news sources. 

The severity and scope of any injuries suffered also has not been made public, nor have any identities of those involved in the collision. 

An investigation into the details of the incident is currently being carried out by local law enforcement officials.
