Stuart, FL – Two-Car Accident with Injuries on Kanner Hwy near SE Lonita St
Stuart, FL (April 1, 2021) – At around 5:30 p.m. on March 31, authorities in Stuart along with Stuart Fire Rescue responded to a call concerning a two-vehicle accident with injuries. According to reports, the incident happened on the Kanner Highway.
Sources reveal that the incident happened near Southeast Lonita Street for currently unspecified reasons. Two vehicles collided on the highway, sending two people to the hospital with injuries.
Paramedics tended to the two injured parties at the scene before transporting them to area hospitals for further care. Their identities have not been released at this time.
Traffic was delayed in the area for some time after the collision took place. Authorities asked drivers to seek alternate travel routes for the time that responders were present at the scene.
