Port St. Lucie, FL – One Killed in I-95 Crash Near MM 117

Port St. Lucie, FL (March 14, 2021) – Police in Port St. Lucie responded to the scene of a fatal car accident early Sunday morning. The incident was first reported around 4:00 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 near mile marker 117.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at least one person was killed in the crash. There is no word at this time on the number of vehicles involved in the accident. Troopers have not provided any information on the events leading up to the crash. The road was shut down and was expected to be closed for several hours. Motorists were rerouted onto Southwest Becker Road while the accident investigation was ongoing. Drivers were advised to avoid the scene if possible. The identity of the deceased victim was not immediately available.
