Pinewood, FL – Pedestrian Fatally Struck on NW 13th Ave

Pinewood, FL (December 07, 2020) – A woman died after being hit by a car as she was crossing the street near a laundromat on Sunday, December 7th in Northwest Miami-Dade.  

Police reports indicate that the accident took place at the intersection of Northwest 103rd Street and Northwest 13th Avenue at about 8:00 p.m.

Based on eyewitness accounts the offending vehicle was an SUV. The driver did stay at the scene and has cooperated with officers thus far.

The identity of the deceased woman has not been released as police are awaiting the notification of her next of kin.  

It is unclear if the driver will be facing charges.

This accident is under investigation by local law enforcement.
