Palm Beach Gardens, FL – Two Killed in Rollover Crash on Florida’s Turnpike

Palm Beach Gardens, FL - Two Killed in Rollover Crash on Florida's Turnpike

Palm Beach Gardens, FL (March 13, 2021) – Two people were killed in a three-car crash on Thursday in Palm Beach Gardens. The accident happened on the Florida’s Turnpike near mile marker 116.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 34-year-old man from Bushnell was driving a tractor-trailer in the right-hand lane when he lost control of his vehicle. The tractor-trailer spun out and collided with the rear-end of a pickup truck driven by a 65-year-old man from Royal Palm Beach. The semi then swerved left and struck a concrete wall. A front-loader tractor that was being hauled by the trailer detached from the vehicle and went into the southbound lanes. A 34-year-old man from Port St. Lucie was driving a pickup truck southbound when he collided with the front loader tractor.

The Port St. Lucie man and his passenger died as a result of the collision. A passenger in the pickup truck suffered serious injuries. The driver of the semi-truck and the man from Royal Palm Beach sustained minor injuries.

The Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the collision at this time. There is no further information available.

We would like to offer our most sincere condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in this tragic car accident in Port St. Lucie.
