Auto Collisions in Florida

Whether you own or rent your own, simply ride in one to get from point A to point B, or are a traveling pedestrian, motor vehicles are a common part of everyday life for the majority of us. Often utilized for necessary and convenient services, as well as transporting people and goods, vehicles have become an integral part of daily life for Americans. However, serious and often devastating traffic accidents can occur if drivers do not exercise extreme caution and care while operating their vehicles.

Approximately 94% of all traffic collisions that happen in the United States are caused by driver negligence.  This concerning statistic puts into perspective just how common and problematic these types of accidents are. Whether a crash happens due to fatigued driving, driver distraction, or driver intoxication, an incident of this magnitude can and often does result in severe injuries or even death. This may leave you and your family in a harsh, painful, and unexpected predicament.

Almost everyone in the US has been the victim of a vehicle collision or knows someone who has. Especially if you live in Florida, where the auto accident rate is higher than almost any other state in the nation. According to information provided by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, in Miami-Dade County, a reportable traffic accident takes place roughly once every 8 minutes. On average, approximately 85 people per day sustain injuries due to traffic accidents in Miami.
