Opa-Locka, FL - Fatal Crash Takes 1 Life, Injures 5 Others on NW 132nd St & Le Jeune Rd

Opa-Locka, FL (June 10, 2021) – One person has lost their life and five others are suffering from injuries following a collision that happened in Opa Locka on Wednesday, June 9. According to reports, the wreck occurred at Northwest 132nd Street. 

Officials stated that the accident took place at Northwest 132nd Street and Le Jeune Road. The contributing factors of the incident have not been reported to the public at this time. 

Various responders were dispatched to the crash scene in order to assist those involved. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units were observed at the crash site along with police officers and paramedics. 

One individual was pronounced deceased at the scene while five others were treated for injuries and transported to area hospitals for further care as needed. Their identities have not currently been disclosed.

Police in Opa-Locka continue to investigate the details of the accident. Our thoughts are with those involved.
