Florida Train Accidents

Train accidents are certainly not the first thing that comes to mind when we think about serious and fatal accidents in Florida. However, these crashes do occur and they are certainly very dangerous and deadly. According to recent statistics, Florida ranks 6th in the nation for the highest number of reported train crash fatalities. The Tri-Rail train, along with the Brightline train, is commonly involved in crashes that result in catastrophic injuries and deaths across our state.

There are a number of potential factors that can cause a Florida train accident. These factors include conductor error, failure to maintain the railway appropriately, mechanical failure, or inspection violations. Train accident cases are one of the most complicated types of injury claims. Depending on how the crash occurs and the reason for the accident, there may be a number of individuals and entities who can be held responsible for the crash. Locating the proper parties and determining who should be responsible is a task that should only be handled by an experienced Florida personal injury lawyer. If you attempt to handle your claim on your own, you could make a major mistake that could reduce or even eliminate your recovery.
