NW Miami-Dade, FL – One Killed in Car Accident on State Road 836
NW Miami-Dade, FL (March 21, 2021) – At least one person was killed following a car accident in Northwest Miami-Dade on Thursday, March 18th. The collision took place on State Road 836 near Northwest 107th Avenue around 3:30 a.m.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, there were three vehicles involved in the collision. Two black vehicles suffered heavy damage and debris was scattered across the roadway. One person was pronounced dead at the accident scene. There is no word on what caused the accident to occur. It is not clear at this time if anyone else was injured in the crash. Police have not identified the deceased victim.
All lanes of SR 836 were closed for several hours while police investigated at the scene and cleared away debris from the accident. Motorists were forced to travel on the left shoulder to get by the crash.
There is no further information available and no word on whether any charges are expected. An investigation is ongoing.
