Northwest Miami-Dade, FL – One Hospitalized When Van Collides into Home

Northwest Miami-Dade, FL (February 7, 2021) – One person was taken to the hospital after a car crashed into a home in Northwest Miami-Dade on Saturday morning. The incident took place around 5:00 a.m. on Northwest 143rd Street.

The Miami-Dade Police Department and Fire Rescue crews responded to the scene of the accident, near the intersection with 10th Avenue. According to reports, two cars were involved in a crash near the house. A van that was involved in the accident veered off the roadway and collided with the house. The crash caused structural damage to the home. Officials transported the injured victim to a local hospital. There is no word on the victim’s condition. It is not clear whether the victim was in the home or the car at the time of the crash, although authorities did report that the house was occupied.
