Car Accidents in Miami

The Miami metropolitan area is the seventh-largest area in the United States in terms of land size. The Miami area is also densely populated, with hundreds of thousands of vehicles traveling the roadways in and around the city each day. As a result, Miami experiences its share of car accidents. In 2019, there were 64,4965 reported car accidents in Miami. In 2018, there were 64,427 reported accidents. It is clear, then, that driving in the Miami area comes with risks to motorists. Not all car accidents occur on the roadways, either. In some cases, innocent bystanders can be hurt if they are simply near a vehicle at the wrong time.

If you or your family member have been injured in a car accident in Miami, you could have important and valuable legal rights. Under Florida law, innocent accident victims may be able to recover damages, including pain and suffering, lost wages, medical and prescription bills, and more. Depending on the severity of the injuries, your potential recovery could be substantial. It is important to seek help from an attorney who understands the law and can make sure that you receive the recovery that you need and deserve.
