Miami Gardens, FL – One Critically Injured In Hit & Run Pedestrian Crash at NW 27th & 207th St
Miami Gardens, FL (February 19, 2021) – One person was airlifted to the hospital after they were hit by a car in Miami Gardens. The driver who struck them fled the scene without stopping to render aid or wait for authorities.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews along with Miami Gardens Police were requested at the scene of the crash that occurred in the area of Northwest 27th Avenue and 207th Street. Reports indicate the accident happened at approximately 7:45 p.m.
According to officials, the victim sustained severe injuries to their lower extremities and had to have one leg amputated due to the collision. The crash remains under local law enforcement investigation at this time.
