Car Accidents in Florida

Car accidents in Florida take place nearly all the time. According to statistics, a reportable crash happens about once every 90 seconds. This means that all motorists are constantly at risk of being involved in an accident. While not all Florida car accidents will result in injuries, about 250,000 people were hurt in crashes that took place across our state in 2019 and more than 3,000 were killed. These numbers illustrate some of the dangers of driving on Florida’s roadways.

Most car accidents in Florida are caused by the actions of negligent drivers. There are a variety of reasons that collisions happen, including distracted and reckless drivers.
