Miami, FL – Protesters Struck by Sedan at 39th & 3rd, Sent to Hospital
Miami, FL (December 14, 2020) – On Friday, December 11, several protesters were struck by a sedan at a protest for immigrant rights in Miami. The reason for the collision is currently under local law enforcement investigation.
According to dozens of eyewitnesses, the crash occurred at the intersection of 39th and 3rd at approximately 5:00 p.m. when a sedan plowed through a dense crowd of protesters. The exact number of injured victims remains unknown at the current time.
Paramedics were called to assist at the scene of the crash and several people were taken to the hospital with injuries of an unknown magnitude. No one involved has been identified at this time.
The driver of the vehicle that drove through the crowd was apprehended by Miami police and arrested. They have not been identified but will be criminally charged.
