Car Accidents in Florida

According to the most recent statistics, there are about 250,000 injury crashes in Florida each year and more than 400,000 reportable accidents. Crash victims have a high chance of being hurt when they are involved in an accident. Although not all Florida car accidents result in injuries, many of them do and the injuries are often serious and life-changing. Some common injuries that result from car accidents in Florida include head trauma, spinal cord injuries, broken bones, and soft tissue injuries.

If you or a loved one have been involved in a car accident in Florida, you should speak with an attorney regarding your rights as soon as possible. Many people make the mistake of attempting to handle their claims on their own. Dealing with the insurance company can be complicated and can also result in settling your case for far less than what it is worth. The insurance adjuster’s job is to make money for the insurance company and not necessarily to pay you full value for your claim. Before talking to an adjuster, you should ensure that you are represented so that you do not make a mistake that could cost you thousands of dollars.
