Miami, FL – Police Cruiser Struck in Hit-and-Run at NE 15th & Biscayne

Coral Gables, FL - Two Seriously Injured in Collision on S. Dixie Hwy

Miami, FL (December 21, 2020) – A traffic collision between a police cruiser and another vehicle took place at an intersection in Miami on December 18. 

The accident happened at the intersection of northeast 15th Street and Biscayne Boulevard at approximately 10:00 p.m. on December 18. The reason the crash took place remains unknown at the current time. 

Paramedics and other police were called to assist at the accident scene in order to render aid to the injured police officer. The severity of his injuries has not been reported at this point in time. 

The officer has not been identified to the public. Police officers who responded to the call concerning the crash redirected traffic at the crash site while other first responders worked to clear the wreckage from the roadway.
