Miami, FL - Fatal Crash on Don Shula Expy

Miami, FL (January 7, 2021) – Police and paramedics in Miami were called to the scene of a fatal accident that occurred on the Don Shula Expressway this evening. The accident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. for reasons still under investigation. 

According to the incident report, the crash was fatal in nature. However, the total number of crash victims remains unknown at this time. The identities of anyone involved have not been released, and the nature and magnitude of their injuries have not been disclosed. 

The Expressway was closed from Florida’s Turnpike to Killian while first responders were present at the scene. Few details are currently available concerning the contributing factors of the collision. 

The Florida Highway Patrol along with emergency medical services responded to the call concerning the crash. No other information has been made available at this time.
