Miami, FL (February 25, 2021) – First responders in Miami including police and EMTs were sent to the scene of a bicycle accident with injuries on February 23. At approximately 2:14 p.m., authorities and paramedics arrived at the scene of the crash on Brickell Avenue. 

According to reports, the crash happened in the 400 block of Brickell near River Walk Trail. A bicyclist was hit by a car for currently unknown reasons. 

Emergency responders were observed at the scene shortly after it took place. The injured victim was treated at the scene before being taken in an ambulance to a nearby medical center for treatment. 

The area of Brickell where the collision took place was closed while responders worked at the scene. Traffic delays resulted for some time.
