Miami-Dade, FL – Serious Crash Takes 1 Life, Injures 1 Other on I-75 near NE 154th St
Miami-Dade, FL (August 2, 2021) – One driver sustained serious injuries and another lost their life early Monday morning in an accident that occurred on I-75 near Hialeah. The incident was reported to authorities at around 1:10 a.m.
Reports show that an accident occurred in the southbound lanes of the Interstate near Northwest 154th Street. Information from various sources stated that a gray Toyota SUV and a gray Acura sedan were headed south when they collided.
Consequently, the driver of the Toyota collided into the SUV which then collided with a concrete barrier wall, causing it to turn over. The driver of the SUV was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center with injuries deemed serious.
The passenger in the SUV was not immediately identified. He was pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical professionals.
Authorities in Miami-Dade continue to investigate the details of the wreck.
