Miami-Dade, FL – Serious Accident on I-95 Express S near Florida’s Turnpike/SR-826
Miami-Dade, FL (June 22, 2021) – Just after 8:00 a.m. on the morning of June 22, an auto accident resulted in injuries and traffic delays in Miami-Dade. The incident was reported to authorities who promptly responded to the scene.
According to information from officials, the wreck occurred on Interstate 95 Express South just before Florida’s Turnpike/SR-826. Paramedics and other responders were observed assisting injured parties at the scene of the collision.
At least one person required transportation by ambulance to an area hospital for extensive care. The nature of the injuries suffered in the crash have not been reported to the public at this time.
All lanes of the interstate were blocked for some time on the morning of June 22 while responders worked to secure the scene. All drivers in the area were forced to find alternate routes while crews were at the crash site.
