Car Accidents in Florida

According to statistics published by NHTSA, there is a reportable Florida car accident about once every 92 seconds. This number may seem alarming but it underscores the dangers that are faced by drivers on our roadways each day. Last year, more than 3,000 people lost their lives and 250,000 were injured in car accidents that took place in our state. As the amount of negligent drivers continues to increase, we can also expect a corresponding increase in the number of crashes that will occur.

If you or a loved one have been involved in a car accident in Florida, you should seek to protect your rights as soon as possible following the crash. Many accident victims make the mistake of trying to handle their claims on their own. This can result in a settlement that is far lower than what your actual case is worth. The goal of the insurance company is to resolve your claim as quickly and cheaply as possible, saving money for the company in the process. The insurance company does not work for you. Signing off on a settlement too soon can leave you shorthanded and facing future, uncovered medical costs resulting from the accident.

With so much on the line, it is imperative to reach out to a skilled car accident attorney in Florida as soon as possible. Your attorney will make sure you are fully compensated for your injuries and that you receive the settlement you deserve.
