Lake Worth, FL (April 4, 2021) – One person was killed and another suffered serious injuries following a crash between four vehicles in Lake Worth. The accident took place on Friday, April 2nd on Hypoluxo Road near the intersection with Jog Road.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash scene. According to deputies, 25-year-old Richard Lipinski was operating a vehicle on Hypoluxo Road at a high rate of speed. Fatal Car Accidents in Florida

Fatal car accidents in Florida take place approximately once every three hours and approximately eight times per day. According to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, there were more than 3,000 reported fatal crashes throughout our state in 2019. While there is no figure on the number of innocent accident victims who were killed by another’s negligence, the number is likely quite high. Serious and fatal accidents take place very suddenly and unexpectedly and can result in heartbreaking losses for family members when their loved one is killed because of the recklessness of another.

If you have lost a family member in a Florida car accident, you could be entitled to compensation. Florida law allows the deceased victim’s next-of-kin or personal representative to bring a claim against a negligent driver. A Florida wrongful death lawsuit seeks recovery of various types of damages, including lost wages, loss of affection and companionship, punitive damages, funeral and medical bills, and possibly more. Only an attorney who is experienced in handling these complex cases can truly ensure that your rights are protected.
