Hollywood, FL – I-95 Pedestrian Crash Takes One Life
Hollywood, FL (September 22, 2020) – A man lost his life in a pedestrian accident that occurred on an interstate in Hollywood this past Friday night.
The wreck occurred on Interstate 95 near Pembroke Road in the late evening hours of Friday, September 18.
For unknown reasons, the man was in the line of travel for passing vehicles on the roadway and was struck by a southbound driver.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the collision.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash by responding paramedics.
No one involved in the collision has been identified at this time.
All southbound lanes of the roadway were closed for a period of time after the accident took place and traffic was diverted at Hollywood Boulevard.
Nothing further has been made public.
