Hialeah, FL – Fatal Car Accident Involving a Motorcycle on Okechobeed Rd near W Fifth St
Hialeah, FL (May 11, 2021) – A fatal traffic accident took one life in Hialeah on Tuesday, May 11. According to reports, the incident closed Okeechobee Road in both directions that morning.
Sources indicate that the crash happened near West Fifth Street for reasons still being investigated by police. Responders treated those with injuries at the scene before transporting seriously injured patients to area medical centers for further care.
A pickup truck and a motorcycle were observed at the crash scene. The motorcycle was laying on the ground. It appeared that the victim was riding the motorcycle, though it has not been confirmed.
All lanes of Okeechobee at West First Avenue reopened at around 10:45 a.m. Police continue to investigate the details of the accident.
