Fort Lauderdale, FL – Man in Critical Condition After Hit & Run Crash at SW 30th Ave & Davie Blvd
Fort Lauderdale, FL (March 15, 2021) – A man is in the hospital suffering from critical injuries after he was struck by a car on a roadway in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday, March 14. Reports indicate that the accident happened on Southwest 30th Avenue at the intersection with Davie Boulevard.
Paramedics assisted the injured pedestrian at the crash scene before transporting him to Broward Health Medical Center for further care. His identity has not been released.
The car that struck the man fled the scene of the crash without stopping to render aid or wait for authorities to arrive. Police believe that the vehicle involved was a gold 1998 or 1999 Toyota Corolla.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
