Dania Beach, FL – Dante Brovillette Loses Life in Fatal Crash on Griffin Road
Dania Beach, FL (February 22, 2021) – Dante Brovillette, a 41-year-old Pompano Beach resident, lost his life in a fatal motorcycle collision on Thursday, February 18. According to reports, the accident took place at approximately 1:00 p.m. in Dania Beach.
Sources indicate the crash occurred on Griffin Road. Factors contributing to the cause of the incident remain under police investigation at this time.
Jonathan Ross Lubert, a 38-year-old man from Homestead, was headed east on Griffin in his 2020 Kia Sorento when he crossed over into the left turning lane at Southwest 33rd Avenue. While doing so, he and Brovillette, who was riding his motorcycle, collided.
Brovillette’s 2013 Harley Davidson crashed into the passenger side of Lubert’s SUV. Brovillette was ejected from the motorcycle during the collision. He was taken from the scene via ambulance to Memorial Regional Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
