Miami, FL - FHP Responds to Sunday Injury Crash on Dixie Highway

Broward County, FL (October 6, 2020) – Emergency responders were called to assist at the scene of a traffic accident that took place on a roadway in Broward County. 

The incident took place at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, at the intersection of West 8th Avenue and Hallandale Beach Boulevard for unknown reasons. 

Local first responders including police, paramedics, and fire crews were called to assist at the scene of the collision. 

It is believed that at least two vehicles were involved in the crash, however, the total number of people injured remains unknown at this time. 

Emergency personnel was observed working at the crash site, though the nature and magnitude of any injuries suffered also has yet to be determined, and no one involved has been publicly identified. 

No further information has been disclosed as police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
