Boynton Beach, FL – Man Killed in Pedestrian Wreck on Summer Tree Dr
Boynton Beach, FL (January 8, 2024) – On Monday, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said that a 98-year-old pedestrian was hit and killed west of Boynton Beach.
The incident occurred at 2288 Summer Tree Drive, between Jog Road and Florida’s Turnpike, and was reported around 3:25 p.m. on Monday. The PBSO collision report states that a 2010 Mercedes GLK 350 was going eastbound when the driver hit the man as they negotiated a turn. The victim was transferred to Delray Medical Center, where he was declared dead at about 6:55 p.m. The driver stayed at the scene, and authorities are still investigating.
