Boca Raton, FL – Melvin Meisel Killed in Car Accident on Powerline Road
Boca Raton, FL (November 21, 2020) – An 88-year-old man lost his life in a crash that took place in Boca Raton on Wednesday, November 18th. The crash was reported around 7:00 p.m. along Powerline Road, near the intersection with Canary Palm Drive.
According to a report from police, Melvin Meisel was driving a 2008 Cadillac CTS southbound on Powerline when he attempted to make a left turn onto Canary Palm. As Meisel was turning, his vehicle collided with a 2008 Ford Mustang driven by 66-year-old Andre Kellogg. Meisel sustained critical injuries as a result of the crash and was taken to a local hospital where he later died. Kellogg sustained non-life-threatening injuries. There were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
Police are still looking into the accident at this time. There is no information on whether any charges are expected to be filed. No further details are available.
